For My Running Lover

They ran the Boston Marathon today. A long time, and continuing goal of my lover.
I thought this picture of the winner, Dire Tune, with a time of 2:25, seemed to reflect what we felt like at the end of our marathons. However, I bet her feet don't hurt as bad.

Lover - Thank you for posting this message about the marathon. We can confidently say that the joy of running a marathon is truly an enlightening and powerful experience. Everyone should take the time to battle the pavement for that brief moment of conquering 26.2!!! Thank you for being by my side every leg of it.

Did you see that Lance Armstrong finished in 2 hours and 56 minutes? However what he said about it comes close to what you said, Mark. "You can't compare the pounding or running with the efficiency of a bicycle," he said. "Nothing even comes close to comparing the pain, especially it seems like this course, with a significant amount of downhills ... that really take their toll on the muscles."
