Running Thoughts From Dr. George

This one's from Denise, she talking me into running another marathon this year in Dallas (April 03, 2005). Deep Breath...

There are as many reasons for running as there are days in the year, years in my life. But mostly I run because I am an animal and a child, an artist and a saint. So, too, are you. Find your own play, your own self-renewing compulsion, and you will become the person you are meant to be.

I could hear that deep sigh from here...you did read the comments, didn't you, about the hills? BH

Better you than me! I somehow don't think of myself as an artist or a saint when running that far! Michael says he thinks of himself as one big achy, stinky foot pounding on the ground. No, really, if we were there, we'd definitely be there to cheer you on and eat the breakfast burritos at the end! love you, N & M
