A video describing one method of creating the yellow first down line during the football games. I agree it is a great advantage to watching games on television. I would suggest adding a yellow touchdown plane, to see if players "break the plane" when attempting to score a touchdown.
Much easier to judge a try in rugby, isn't it.

If you saw the U.T.-Ohio State game, did you notice that on one kick they said that was a "rugby kick". Nancy and I were wondering what exactly that was...low, high, illegal. Mom
