This photo reminded me of Isaac's quest to able to ride the slide at the local swimming pool. They've instituted a new policy where instead of just being able to swim to the side after falling into the water: you have to be able to swim an entire length of the pool, and tread water for 1 minute.
If it would even stop raining, we might meet the restrictions by the end of the summer.

Very interesting blog from the guy from Iraq. I wonder what he was doing over there. I can't see Michael birding or fishing! :) Although, I'm sure he'd like to have some time to do some reading and writing. I know, too, that he'd be quite interested in the conservation going on. He gets his drivers upset with him regularly because he won't let them run the vehicle with the A/C on while he's in a meeting. He told them they can either come in with him where it's cool or be hot outside, but the vehicle won't stay on. I suppose every tiny bit helps.
