Interesting Friday Quote

Considering our visits to the health care, we've done a great deal of praying and working lately.  I believe this weekend we are going on a pilgrimage.  This religious act seems common in many religions; however, I can't say I was aware of it during my own religious training.  I'll give more details as they become available.

Pray as if everything depended upon God and work as if everything depended upon man.
Francis Cardinal Spellman

I'm very interested in this--the health care visits and the pilgrimage. I, also, have been praying hard for you guys.

I think, in my religious experience, it has been that long search for spirituality--not necessarily a place, but in my soul. However, several of my friends have made the pilgrimage to the Holy Land to visit the sites where Jesus lived and taught. Also, some of my friends often visit special religious shrines and go on annual spiritual retreats--for us Glorieta--(something I think we do not do often enough) to re-commune with God and their faith.
My prayers are constantly with you, but especially as you take this time out to dwell on God and your faith. BH
