News from Stacie regarding Dylan's surgery this morning. I believe he had a bulb inserted to help with the draining.
I just got the call from the resident doctor and Dylan did very well in surgery today. He is back in Giraffe Pod now and is not needing air, he is still on room air at this time. He is showing signs of pain, which is normal, and they will give him medicine as needed. He should be starting feeds up again as he can tolerate them. They are thinking he should be in Giraffe for at least a day or two then can be moved back to a level two and get ready to come home.

It's hard to imagine how much Dylan has been through--and his parents. Please hug my grandchildren for me--really tight! BH
