YouTube: Aurora Borealis From Space

Astronaut Don Pettit created this video using a sequence of still images he shot of the aurora borealis from the International Space Station.

That's really cool! WE were using that as an example in Christian's Latin the other day. He's learning the work auriga (which means "dawn") and we were telling him about the Aurora Borealis. He's been reading about it, so I'm excited to show him this post.

Love,

Nancy

I was writing the previous comment mid-workout, so was only half thinking about my Latin vocabulary. I realized shortly after that I had written auriga (which actually means charioteer) and not aurora (which, of course, means dawn).
Happy Anniversary!!
