Friday Quotes of the Day

First a quote from a speech we heard yesterday. Isaac stayed up a little later to witness history, and observed some parts directed at him specifically.

The life of a tall, gangly, self-made Springfield lawyer tells us that a different future is possible. He tells us that there is power in words. He tells us that there is power in conviction. That beneath all the differences of race and region, faith and station, we are one people. He tells us that there is power in hope.
One of my favorite quotes in another iteration.

Don't spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it into a door. Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Happy Friday

The history witnessed last night was outstanding! I am so honored to share this exciting time with both my Lover and my step-son.

One of my favorite quotes falls in line with yours as well..."We are not a red America and we are not a blue America....WE are the United States of America." I love these words as it truly describes a genuine & peaceful unity.

Love to you Amor & to our family readers. ~ Denise

...so did Isaac appreciate his insight into history or was he just ecstatic to get to stay up late? Obama does say all of the right words--and he says them spectacularly. Next, let's see how he is going to actually take care of the policy he promotes--that's what I want to hear from him. Love, Mom
